When we opened the cafe in 2016 we knew that there were too many great coffee roasters in the world to commit to just one. Cafe Domestique offers a regular rotation of coffee from some of the best roasters in the world, including those listed below.

The roaster we opened the cafe with and still one of our favorites, you’ll regularly see Intelligentsia Black Cat on as an espresso option at Domestique.

From time to time we’ll bring in an international roaster such as Square Mile Coffee Roasters. It’s always a nice treat to walk into a coffee shop and find a coffee that you would never expect to be there.

What can we say about Onyx Coffee Lab? We brought them in as a short-term guest roaster in 2018 and the coffee was so good and got such great feedback that we just kept bringing them back. You’ll see Onyx’s Monarch espresso on pretty regularly in our little cafe.

Our favorite roaster in our home state, Ruby Coffee Roasters carefully sources coffee through direct relationships with farmers and roasts in one of the most unexpected small towns in northern Wisconsin.

Undisclosed Coffee Collective isn’t actually a roaster, but our way of leveling the playing field and introducing you to new roasters, large and small. From time to time we’ll have a coffee bagged in plain packaging, with all of the pertinent coffee information save the name of the roaster, so you can enjoy the coffee without preconceived notions.
